Trial – V

“Thou disgust me, sire,”

– Finally spake the judge,

His eyes raging with fire,

Yet the face concealed grudge.

I cast a glance across, delirious,

As ‘Ye Hono” chose his words;

“I beg thee pardon,

Though shamed I be

Curious am I, why, pray

Tell me, You harbour such monstrosity?

When all I must say – “hang”

To the gallows shall ye march,

To befitting justice; yet I implore,

Why would such a thing you do?”
